With a lifetime’s gardening experience in England and the U.S.A., training as a Certified Professional Horticulturist and over 15 years as an award-winning designer, author and presenter, I can help you solve all these problems.

In the Greater Seattle area, I offer custom, innovative landscape design, landscape consultations through my business Le jardinet to help you troubleshoot problem areas or realize a vision, and even a Personal Container Coach service where I teach you design tips and tricks as we shop together.

I have co-authored two books with Christina Salwitz; the award winning Fine Foliage (St. Lynn’s Press, 2013) and the highly acclaimed Gardening with Foliage First (Timber Press, 2017), and  my latest book  is Deer-Resistant Design (Timber Press, 2019).
